Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Mix together above ingredients. Pour into prepared pie crust. Bake for 12 minutes at 425 degrees. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. Bake for about an hour, check to make sure the center is well set.
Grandmother Ilha Agler handed this recipe down to Mitzi, always delicious and always easy. She would make a mince meat pie for the grown ups and a pumpkin pie for the kids, but the pumpkin version would disappear long before the mince meat version.
